We all think that just because we woke up this morning, we will make it through the day. We think just because we eat healthy, exercise, are young and even believe in God that we will live to get old, but none of that is true.
It's the amount of time that God allows you to live.
In a recent survey they determined that the US life expectancy has dropped. Why is this? We are more educated, and much more dependent on things than God, but the truth be told, we and the world are much more sinful, so God has started declining our life span World Wide.
God teaches his saints to know their days even if they do not want to accept it.
PSALM 90, 10 & 12 VerseS - The days of our years are three score years and ten (70). and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away 11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath 12 So teach us to number our days that we may apply our heart unto wisdom
I told my church members to keep a close eye on their days of life. Counting by ten, if you were born in the 30's, 40's 50's, 60's, 70's, I use these age groups based on longevity your time is almost near.
If you are young tomorrow is not a promise to you.
In this scripture below, this man banked on tomorrow and it never came.
LUKE 12th chapter, 16 -21 verses, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 and he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room to bestow my fruits? And he said, this will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much gods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry, but God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
Remember Jesus Number your days according to his will and purpose for you life.
