Giving to God

What does it mean to Give? it mean to freely transfer your possession to someone, to handover. In order to receive you must be a giver. Do you always look for somone to give you something? but you never give in return.

God word says for us to give. And we are to give of our earthly possessions, money, time and dedication to him first, and then to whom God the Holy Spirit lead you to give to. God set the example by giving his only begotten Son Jesus, and Jesus gave his life that we may have life more abundantly on earth. look at what God did for us:

ST.JOHN 3rd Chapter, 16 Verse, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Giving show's God that you are not selfish. LUKE 6TH Chapter,38 verse, Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

If you give a little to God, he is going to measure it and give a little dab back to you. God loveth a cheerful giver.

PROVERBS 17th Chapter, 17 verse, He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the lord; and that which he hath given will be pay him again.

When you are giving remember that God does not need your money, you are giving to his cause to help those in need the poor and his church to spread his Gospel to reach lost souls. You must even give your children to God and Jesus, by letting them and you support the church.

What ever you give God will give you more back?
