What does the word Hurt mean? It mean's to damage, or wound.

This mean physical and emotional. You cannot down play either. They both have a profound effect on our behavior and attitude.

Because we are all different and individual. Each one of us experience physical hurt and emotional hurt differently. Many times the physical hurt heal, but emotional hurt may never heal.

We carry things that happened to us as children. As adults we don't realize the significance of how it effects us. Because we are hurt, we lash out at others, so that we can unleash the pain we have felt all those years.

What make's matters worse for us is, when not our enemies, but our friend's, family and love one's damage us physically and emotionally.

The reason we have scars from that hurt is to remind us what happened. It is the same with Jesus. The Nail prints in his hands, feet, pierced in the sides with thorns on his head and death on the cross, remind us of the pain he endured on the cross to save us from our sins and eternal damnation. It hurt God the father and God the Son(Jesus), when we willfully sin against him.

ISAIAH 53RD CHAPTER, 3 - 5 VERSES. He is despised and rejected of men: a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him: he was despised and we esteemed him not 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Jesus bore our hurts, sins and grief on the Cross. More than anything else. Jesus loves and cares for us. Stop hurting him by the sinful life you live.

1st PETER, 5th chapter, Casting all your care upon; for he careth for you

GIVE IT ALL TO JESUS.
