What is Salvation/Saved? Salvation means to be secured through confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and that you are delivered from the Lord's day of wrath against his enemies, that you have ask God to forgive you for your sins in his son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Angels have written your name in the lamb book of life to live Eternally with God and Jesus Christ. Salvation/saved also means that your soul is secure through the blood, death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ when you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior.
Romans 10th Chapter, 9 & 10 verses. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (unto Jesus Christ).
If anyone want to live again, they must accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Saved or Savior also mean to deliver from harm, evil & eternal damnation. Acts 4th Chapter, 10 - 12 verses. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God has raised from the dead, Even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the Stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Salvation also means being born again of the spirit that you set your mind on God and live for him on earth to live with him after death. St John 3rd chapter, 1 - 21 verses.
Can you lose your salvation? Many say that you cannot because you have been sealed by the Holy Spirit of God. Ephesians 4th Chapter, 30th verse, And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, Whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. It is not that the Holy Spirit is not able to keep you sealed, God will not break the seal, Jesus will not break it, the Holy Spirit will not break the seal or the Holy Angels. Only you can break your seal by returning to the world and committing those shameful sins all over again and turning your back on Jesus. Hebrews 6th chapter 4 - 6 verses, for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
So the answer is yes, if you choose to return again to your sinful state without repenting to Jesus. You break the seal not the Holy Spirit. Revelation 3rd chapter, 5th verse. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment: and will not blot out his name out of the book of life.
Salvation is a free gift from God. Ephesians 2nd chapter, 8 verse for by grace ye are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.
